HHAI Alumnus, Courtney Tuchman, returned to school today to provide some insight into her experience with the Design Thinking process. Courtney was a student at HHAI when the original museum was conceived. She’s excited at the prospect of a major renovation and is eager to share her expertise that she has learned through her classes at Ball State University.
With our time spent with Courtney we’ve also learned about a possible partnership that could be made in the future with our school and Ball State Univesity! This valuable partnership could result in a great origin of resources for our space as well as experitise that would be an asset to the future of our museum!

The Design Thinking process continues! After completing the Ideation steps, students were placed into groups based on the common interests we found with the exhibit ideas they came up with. The next step in the Design Thinking process was the Prototyping stage. Using our school’s Makerspace, students created prototypes for their exhibits and presented those prototypes to their classmates. Students presenting then answers questions about their prototypes to help everyone understand their vision.
Above you’ll find all of our prototyping presentations. Feel free to preview to see the great ideas our students have come up with! |
